The Central Board of Secondary Education is all set to release the results of the 10th and 12th board exam for the academic year 2017. It is expected that the students can access the same by the end of May. CBSE will officially publish the notification regarding the evaluation soon, and the results will be posted on the formal website

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is one of the reputed educational board in the country. The organisation was set up in the year 1962 with its headquarters in New Delhi.

Many prestigious institutions like the Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas and several other private schools are affiliated to this board.

CBSE 10th Result 2017

CBSE is responsible for conducting the major qualifying examinations for the 10th and 12th grades in India. Also, they were the organisers of the AIEEE Examination, a major undergraduate engineering admission test till 2013 which was later merged with the IIT-Joint Entrance Exam (JEE). The National Eligibility Test (NET) and the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) also comes under the control of CBSE.

A rough statistics shows that every year about 25 lakh students appears for the examination. Among this, 12 lakh students are in for the 12th class review and 13 lakhs students are for the 10th class examination.

The CBSE 10th and 12th Class Results are expected to be published in the month of May 2017. The board will update the results in the official portal as soon as the results are out for review. The board is trying to open the portal with a record deadline this year. The valuations of the papers are almost completed. The government has taken an efficient system for the paper evaluation to avoid the delay in the process. Also, a well-organised methodology is implemented for ensuring an error-free correction.

The students who have applied for the 10th-grade examination can access their 10th results through a unified portal and for the 12th-grade candidates, a streamwise channel is arranged. That is, the 12th results are consolidated and will be published separately in the Science, Humanities and Commerce trades but through a common gateway.
